Hartfield Country Club – Local Rules – To be read in conjunction with the Rules of Golf

If staked tree or staked shrub interferes with a players stance or area of intended swing, the ball must be lifted without penalty and dropped in accordance with the procedure in Rule 16.1b (Immovable Obstruction).

  • All nurseries are to be treated as Ground Under Repair and relief must be taken in accordance with the procedure in Rule 16.1b.
  • Those areas enclosed by white lines or signed accordingly are to be treated as Ground Under Repair and relief may be taken in accordance with the procedure in Rule 16.1b.

  • All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule 16.1b. In addition, the player may take relief if an immovable obstruction is: On the line of play and is – within two club -lengths of the putting green, and
  • Within two club-lengths of the ball.

  • Hole 13 Left Hand Side of penalty area is a Red Penalty Area – red pegs. Right Hand Side of penalty area is a Yellow Penalty Area – yellow pegs.
  • Hole 15 Yellow Penalty area for Men – yellow pegs.
  • Hole 16 Left Hand Side penalty area is a Yellow Penalty Area – yellow pegs. Right Hand Side penalty area – Red Penalty Area – red pegs.

As indicated on Local Rules Board outside the Pro Shop.

  • MATCH PLAY – Loss of Hole
  • STROKE PLAY – Two Strokes

  • YELLOW – Front
  • WHITE – Middle
  • BLUE CHECK – Back

Please rake bunkers and repairs divots and pitch marks

One long blast of the siren – Suspend play for 20 minutes until rain clears and greens are playable. Players may mark their ball and take shelter.

  • Three blasts of the siren – Play abandoned – Course Closed
